What excites you about being part of the Cherre family?
I enjoy being part of Cherre because here I met a lot of people whom I strive to be like. I learn new skills, knowledge, wisdom from my colleagues and that excites me.

At Cherre, we are all snow leopards – what are you working on and what makes you unique?
I am part of the Data Science team and focus on improving the Owner Unmasking algorithm. At Cherre I am responsible for creating and maintaining the quality of Big Garden and Midgard, which are custom-made knowledge graph nodes and edges, used to identify the largest portfolio owners in the US.

How do you give back to the community to change our world for the better?
I am not sure what makes our world a better place. What makes the world better for me, might make it worse for someone else, so I try to give back only when people ask for it.

I try to keep some of my schedule open for people who ask for help. Mostly, I advise people on their job/university application processes or anything that I am capable of. For example, I taught people how to solve quant problems, play piano, snowboarding, boxing, public speaking, or how to improve credit score. Disclaimer: I am not an expert in any of those areas, there are thousands of people better than me, I am good at teaching and that is how I enjoy giving back.

What keeps you curious and engaged to grow personally/professionally?
I enjoy the process of growth by itself because I think without being curious and learning, life will be boring. There is something satisfactory about struggling to learn new things or getting better at existing skills.

What do you like to do outside of work?
I like experiencing new things and connecting with people. I try to do activities that I have never done before and invite people whom I haven’t connected with in a while or meet new people on the spot. Hiking, snowboarding, and traveling are my favorites.

What is the last book you read/movie you watched?
It is hard to tell which last book I read. I finished 3 on the same day, “Irrationally yours” by Dan Ariely, “Homo Deus” by Yuval Noah Harari, and “The Case for Keto” by Gary Taubes. I love to read multiple thought-provoking books at the same period of time, it helps me not to overfocus on one and take breaks in between.

The last movie I watched was ‘Spider-man: No way home’ and I loved the ending a lot.

If your life were being turned into a movie, who would play you or narrate your story?
I think my little brother would be perfect for the role, we look alike and he is very good at acting.
