What excites you about being part of the Cherre family?
We are helping clients with tough and important problems in a complex and ever changing environment. The singular focus of the team, the strong self-driven and collaborative mindset of everyone I have worked with, and the fact that we are all very unique and different in many ways, yet we are all rowing in the same direction in highly synchronized fashion, make Cherre a great place to learn and grow as well as have fun.
At Cherre, we are all snow leopards – what are you working on and what makes you unique?
I work at the intersection of our growing partner network and our customers, sales, service, and product teams. I am focused on listening to client needs, and working with our internal teams and partners to seamlessly enable clients to quickly access the best data so they can focus on what they do best.
How do you give back to the community to change our world for the better?
I believe first and foremost in being a good example so I try to do that every single day – you can call it “the act as if your grandmother is watching mindset.” Over the years I have also been involved with groups that I feel contribute to fundamental needs which has included Habitat for Humanity and educational/ training youth programs (match/ sciences and interviewing skills/ practice).
What keeps you curious and engaged to grow personally/professionally?
I have always felt a strong need to contribute to the environment I am in, and by that I mean from the basic/practical parts of life (food, shelter, etc.), to hopeful bigger aspects. So I think that fundamental desire to contribute always pushes me to think of different ways to tackle hurdles/ opportunities, learn, grow, and build new “muscles.”
What do you like to do outside of work?
I am a big fan of the outdoors, from simply walking/jogging, to hiking, golfing, and skiing. In the last few years I have gotten into Argentine Tango, both the music and dancing, so that has become a bit of an obsession as it has a lot of layers and there is always more to learn.
What is the last book you read/movie you watched?
The Square and the Tower by Niall Ferguson
If your life were being turned into a movie, who would play you or narrate your story?
When I had hair, yes there was a day, I was told I looked like Alfred E. Neuman, the fictional mascot of Mad magazine so he would get the early years. The later years would be covered by Daniel Craig as some claim there is a resemblance.
